New Album - Coming Sept 25th, 2026

NoLifeTilMetal Records is proud to announce the new album, Requiem of Time from Texas guitarist Chris Manning’s coming in September! The new album is a worthy follow-up to “Reach The Sky” (2023) and once again features vocalist extraordinaire and co-writer, Cris Hodges (Grey Daze, In The End). Requiem of Time also features a stellar lineup of guest artists including legendary guitarist Bruce Kulick (KISS, Union) on “Frequency” as well as Grammy-nominated bassist and producer, Jimmy  Haslip on “Ghosts of Dragon Lake”. Bassist Dug Pinnick appears on "Fool's Gold". Bruce Kulick returns as the album’s creative consultant.  A limited number of colored vinyl and CDs will be available for pre-orders in July!

Chris Manning is a melodic rock guitarist, songwriter, and No Life ’Til Metal Records recording artist whose work blends classic hard rock influences, strong melodic hooks, and atmospheric cinematic textures. He has released three melodic rock albums on the label, featuring special guests including Bruce Kulick (KISS, Union), Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets, Tommy Bolin, Allan Holdsworth), Dug Pinnick, and blues guitarist Tommy Katona (Texas Flood).

 

Manning has shared stages with Drowning Pool, George Lynch and Lynch Mob, Michael Schenker, Dokken, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, and Dangerous Toys. He was featured in the December 2008 issue of Guitar Player magazine, further highlighting his work as an independent guitarist and songwriter.

 

In addition to his solo work, Manning is a founding member of The Zeppelin Project, the longest-running Led Zeppelin tribute band in Texas. Through both his original recordings and live performances, he continues to build a reputation as a guitarist and songwriter rooted in melodic rock, classic hard rock, and the enduring power of guitar-based music.
